The book hall offers all Wilhelmsburg residents a wide range of up-to-date media in various areas for borrowing. The heart of the book hall is the large children's library with many books, radio plays on CD or as Tonie, children's films, games, etc.
We attach particular importance to a diverse and varied range of media in order to be a place where everyone feels welcome and sees themselves naturally represented in the media. We also offer not only the usual media formats, but also useful items in the 'library of things', such as cordless screwdrivers, tools or sewing machines, etc.
In addition, we offer various events for children and adults in various cultural and educational areas.
The 'FlexiBib' can also be used by adult Wilhelmburg residents outside of our service hours as a place to rest, study and work, as well as to borrow and return items.
