The get the kick e.V. association is a recognized youth welfare organization and operates the "die mügge" project house. The main user of the house is the HDJ Veddel. Some of the visitors come to make music.
In addition, cooperation with the surrounding schools takes place here regularly on 3-4 days of the week.
The music project "bandboxx" operates one of its locations here in the building with a rehearsal room, recording studio and instrument workshop.
In the years before Corona, there was the "Balkon der Liebe" music event series on the large balcony of the building, where local bands and newcomers gave concerts.
In 2022 and 23, the "Jazz with a view" concert series took place here once a month, where we hosted the "Jürgen Kok Trio", occasionally with special guests.
When the weather is right, we'll play on the balcony with its great panoramic view over the water; when it rains, we'll go into the large group kitchen.
