The Wilhelmsburg Rowing Club (WRC) is one of Hamburg's traditional rowing clubs. It was founded in 1895 and currently has just under 150 members, including around 30 young people. Our non-profit club is open to rowers and anyone who would like to become one. We offer different types of rowing: from hiking and recreational rowing to competitive rowing. We also play table tennis and train regularly.

Our boathouse is located on the Elbe island in the middle of Wilhelmsburg on a large site directly on the Aßmann Canal. Our clubhouse has a restaurant and a large function room. In addition to the boathouse, there is a weights and ergometer area for strength and fitness training. Sport, celebrations, games and cooking evenings together -
everything takes place "under one roof".
